CKC CARES Terms and Conditions of Service

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of CKC Cares’ services, websites, products, digital tools, frameworks, and AI agents. By engaging with CKC Cares, whether through purchase, participation, download, or communication, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

CKC Cares is the operating brand of CKC Cares Ventures Ltd. (UK Company #16391487), a human-first consultancy focused on ethical AI, policy development, sound empowerment, digital well-being, and leadership transformation. The company is registered in England and Wales and operates globally under a commitment to ethical innovation.


1. Scope of Application

These Terms apply to all clients, partners, collaborators, contractors, educators, and users who:

  • Purchase or access any product or service via ckccares.com, ckccaresshop.com, or affiliated domains
  • Participate in sessions, events, trainings, or assessments
  • Use or interact with CKC Cares frameworks, methodologies, and AI agents

2. Services Offered

CKC Cares provides services including, but not limited to:

  • Workshops and certifications
  • Coaching and leadership development programs
  • Digital toolkits and downloadable frameworks
  • AI ethics and governance consulting
  • AI-powered tools and GPT-based agents
  • Sound therapy and emotional well-being facilitation
  • Custom research, diagnostics, and strategic assessments

All services are delivered by qualified team members, partners, or external consultants under our ethical delivery framework. Certain services may require signed agreements or onboarding protocols.


3. Use of AI and Automated Scoring

CKC Cares may use AI-assisted tools or automated learning platforms to support self-reflection, formative assessment, and certification delivery.

While these tools may provide preliminary scores or guidance, all final certification decisions include human review and discretion, especially in courses involving open-ended or values-based reflection.

By using our services, you acknowledge that system-generated results are provisional until confirmed by a qualified evaluator, and you agree that manual overrides may be applied to ensure ethical and reflective integrity.

Booking, Payment, and Scheduling

  • All bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of payment, deposit, or signed agreement.
  • Sessions must be scheduled within 90 days of booking unless otherwise agreed.
  • Workshops or engagements requiring travel or custom content must be confirmed a minimum of 30 days in advance.
  • Late payments may result in service delays or cancellation.
  • Payment can be made via Stripe, PayPal, bank transfer, or Shopify checkout, depending on the service.

4. Cancellations, Refunds, and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations must be made in writing to shop@ckccares.com.
  • Individual coaching or mapping sessions: 5 business days’ notice is required for full rescheduling.
  • Workshops or policy engagements: 15 business days’ notice required.
  • Refunds are only issued if CKC Cares cancels a session or materially fails to deliver the service as described and agreed.
  • Digital products (e.g., toolkits, assessments, agent access) are non-refundable once downloaded or accessed.

5. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

All materials provided by CKC Cares, including but not limited to frameworks (e.g., Human Scaffolding, Zone of Disrupted Identity (ZDI), Bag & Bleed, R.A.D., Digital Twin Self), templates, toolkits, AI prompts, audio content, and workshop slides, are the intellectual property of CKC Cares Ventures Ltd. or its founder, Cha’Von Clarke-Joell.

You may:

  • Use materials internally for your organisation’s benefit
  • Cite frameworks with credit in academic or non-commercial research

You may not:

  • Rebrand, redistribute, or resell CKC Cares materials
  • Share access to licensed agents or digital tools outside your team
  • Replicate service models, prompts, or structures for resale

6. User Conduct & Client Responsibilities

Users and clients agree to:

  • Engage respectfully with all CKC Cares team members and collaborators
  • Avoid harassment, misuse of tools, or disruptive behaviour during live or virtual sessions
  • Provide accurate information during onboarding, assessments, or diagnostics
  • Ensure appropriate environmental conditions for sound therapy or emotional wellness services
  • Inform CKC Cares of any accessibility, cultural, or emotional accommodations needed in advance

CKC Cares reserves the right to terminate or refuse services to anyone whose behaviour violates ethical norms or jeopardises psychological safety.


7. Limitation of Liability

CKC Cares shall not be liable for:

  • Outcomes or decisions made based on advice from workshops, agents, or toolkits
  • Technical disruptions beyond our control (e.g., platform outages, third-party failures)
  • Emotional or psychological responses to content, sound therapy, or frameworks

In no event shall CKC Cares' liability exceed the fees paid for the specific service in question, except where liability cannot be excluded under UK law (including for death, personal injury, or fraud).


8. Youth Participation & Safeguarding

Any service accessed by individuals under age 18 must:

  • Include verifiable parental or guardian consent
  • Occur in a safeguarded environment (in-person or online)
  • Be facilitated by a qualified team member

CKC Cares does not knowingly deliver unsupervised services to minors. Youth participation in sound therapy, emotional mapping, or AI agents must be guided by an adult.


9. Third-Party Tools, Platforms & Data Processors

CKC Cares may use secure third-party platforms for service delivery (e.g., Notion, Stripe, Webflow, Shopify, OpenAI via GPT agents).

  • Each third party is bound by its own terms and data protection commitments.
  • Use of these tools is required for full access to our services. For a full list of processors, contact privacy@ckccares.com.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, where CKC Cares Ventures Ltd. is registered.

Local client protections also apply per international law (e.g., GDPR, consumer protection regulations).

Disputes will be resolved first through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, parties agree to mediation before any formal legal action.


11. Consumer Rights Protection

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer protection law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or equivalent consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction. Where local laws provide stronger consumer protections, those laws shall apply.

We reserve the right to update these Terms. The "Effective Date" will indicate the last modification. Clients will be notified of substantial changes via email if contact information is on file.
