Vision to Action: CKC Cares Commitment to the Collective Shaping the Future

 The Digital Polycrisis Book Cover

The Digital Polycrisis

The Diagnosis
Written by Cha'Von K. Clarke-Joell, The Digital Polycrisis is the foundation behind everything we build at CKC Cares.

This is a book on AI and digital transformation that focuses on US, the people living inside technology. Inside you will find a practical framework for understanding and living through the interconnected crises of our digital age (AI ethics, cybersecurity, data privacy and human resilience) as one connected reality that shapes how we lead, decide, adapt and survive, because digital transformation and human transformation are not two different conversations. They are the same one, and this book treats them that way.

The Digital Polycrisis book includes a micro course, glossary, career development guide, industry applications, future scenarios and book club questions. Written for leaders, professionals, educators and anyone trying to make sense of a world moving faster than most organisations were built to handle. The 2026 edition is in development, but in 2023, it all began.

The Experiment
In the book's own words, written in 2024: "this book project is an innovative experiment blending human expertise with advanced AI technology."

The hypothesis was simple: If a human being with lived expertise works alongside AI deliberately and transparently, where does each one reach its limit?

The technical and regulatory sections were AI assisted and reviewed and approved by the author. That oversight was nuanced by the author as a qualified professional using a tool within their domain of expertise and taking full accountability for every word that made it into print. You cannot approve what you do not understand, and understanding came from lived experience and certifications inside privacy law, data governance and regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions before the book was written. The frameworks, the lived experience, the cultural case studies, the creative connections between ideas are solely contributions of human intelligence.

The result of the experiment was that AI reaches its limit exactly where human transformation begins. The moment the work required someone to have felt something, lived something, understood something from the inside, AI could not go further. That boundary is philosophical not a technical limitation, and philosophy, at its core, belongs to human beings.

We don't see this as a limitation of AI. It is a definition of what makes us human in the age of intelligence.

The book is the evidence of the theory and framework in practice.

Ultimately, human beings are the softer side of AI and technology because we are the point of it!

What Grew From It

The book raised more questions. Everything below is what CKC Cares built in response to them.

A Companion for Ethical Action

Skating the Digital Polycrisis: Professionals' Workbook
The book gives you the framework. The workbook puts it in your hands. It is designed for leaders, educators and change makers who want to move from understanding to action at their own pace and in line with their own values.

E-AMP Leadership: A Human Lens for Change

E-AMP grew from one question the book kept raising: what does ethical leadership actually look like when you are inside the disruption rather than observing it from outside. It is a practical model built around empathy, adaptability, mindfulness and presence for leaders navigating digital transformation with their humanity intact.

Human Scaffolding

Human Scaffolding came from watching what happens to people when digital transformation moves faster than human transformation. It is the framework for understanding how individuals and teams hold up under pressure, where they strengthen and where they bleed, and how organisations can build structures that support people rather than exhaust them.

The Digital Twin Self and Zone of Disrupted Identity
These frameworks came directly from the identity questions the book raised. Who are we becoming inside this transformation. What do we carry forward and what do we leave behind. These tools help individuals and teams navigate that question with clarity rather than anxiety.

Digital Identity & Team Tools

The Digital Twin Self

  • Align digital identity with core values
  • Support meaningful, respectful online engagement
  • Bridge the gaps between culture and technology

The Digital Saboteurs Framework

  • Spot hidden resistance to change
  • Strengthen teamwork and reduce friction
  • Build trust during digital transitions

Our Human Scaffolding model offers clear, supportive tools for real-world change:

  • R.A.D. (Reflect, Analyse & Answer, Discuss with Diversity) - for thoughtful decisions
  • BAG & BLEED - for ethical, collaborative innovation
  • Saboteur Diagnostics - for smoother transitions

FedMOB: our "Focus, Empower, Define" Framework in Everyday Action

Sometimes the most radical act of resilience is slowing down. The FedMOB suite and sensory tools grew from the recognition that cognitive overload is not a personal failing. It is a systemic condition that requires intentional daily practice to manage.
